Get ready to chow down on some of the best chili this side of the Mississippi. This year’s Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival is cooking up some spicy and saucy fun with the first ever Cowboy Chili Cook Off! Brought to you by the City of Santa Clarita and Bridge to Home, the primary homeless services provider in the valley, the Chili Cook Off will take place Sunday, April 14th from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at William S. Hart Park in Newhall, CA.
This event features numerous chili cooks preparing and serving their best chili recipes. Cooks include International Chili Society members, local amateur chefs, and those who simply wish to make chili for a great cause.
The proceeds of this event go towards Bridge to Home’s mission of providing support services – including an emergency shelter, case management, housing navigation, and referrals for health, mental health, and substance use treatment – to help individuals and families in the Santa Clarita Valley transition out of homelessness.
