Why are you holding it a month later than you have in the past?
The filming schedules at Melody Ranch are such that we moved the dates to avoid any potential conflict.

Is Melody Ranch open to the public April 22-25, 2010?
No. Those days are used to prepare the Ranch for the Festival. It is open to the public on Saturday and Sunday, April 24 and 25. Patrons attending the Festival can park at our shuttle site at 13th and San Fernando Road and take the Shuttle to Melody Ranch both days.

Are cameras allowed at the Festival?
Video cameras or camcorders are not allowed at Melody Ranch.

Can we park at Melody Ranch?
There is no public parking at Melody Ranch. Shuttle buses from the shuttle site at 13th & San Fernando Rd. are complimentary.

Are the Main Stage shows reserved seating?
No. All the shows are included in the price of general admission on a first come, first serve basis except for persons who purchase Friends of the Festival Tickets. The latter will receive “preferred” seating for Melody Stage shows The Melody Ranch Stage will be housed inside a tent with ongoing shows both Saturday and Sunday.

How can we be assured of getting seats for the main stage shows?
One way is to purchase the “Friends of the Festival” Ticket package. For $150.00 a limited number of patrons are given “preferred seating” for all the shows plus VIP shuttle service to Melody Ranch, access to the VIP Hacienda with catered food and beverage, and many other benefits. Also, most performers perform both days at other stages on the Festival grounds.

Do we have to purchase tickets ahead of time?
We strongly recommend that you purchase the Friends of the Festival package early on. We’re also offering a Two – Day weekend pass ($30.00 adults, $15.00 children). Both the “Friends of the Festival ticket and the Two day weekend pass MUST be purchased by April 15, 2010 and will NOT be sold on the day of the Festival. General Admission tickets ($20.00 adults, $10.00 Children) can be purchased the day of the Festival at the Shuttle site.

Are there other events outside of Melody Ranch?
Yes. We have several great attractions at various venues on Thurs-Sun, April 23-25 like a Chuckwagon Cooking Demonstration, special performances at William S. Hart Mansion and Heritage Park and the Quick Draw at Hart Hall.

Does the Cowboy Festival allow for disabled or handicapped?
Yes. Our Shuttle buses are ADA equipped and can accommodate wheel chairs, mobility scooters, etc. However, it is important to note conditions at Melody Ranch. The Festival is outdoors and spread over approximately half of the 22 acres of the Ranch and is primarily dirt track. To see the Festival requires patrons to move about the Ranch. We strongly recommend appropriate footwear, shade hats and/or sun screen. There are no shuttles within the ranch.
