Ron Christopher

Heroes, villains, losers, winners….such are the characters that inhabit the music of award winning singer/songwriter Ron Christopher. His melodies are compelling, insistent, always alluring, delivered in a deeply resonant voice evocative of artists Marty Robbins, Waylon Jennings and Johnny Cash.

His writing has been inspired by his heroes…Kris Kristofferson, Tom Russell, Joe Ely and Guy Clark. His albums are thematically woven to embrace the romanticism of the American West, created by strong, thoughtfully crafted, poetic lyrics, clothed in melodies that fit just right….familiar, but not predictable.

Originally from St. Petersburg, Florida, Ron now makes his home in Los Angeles, California. He has worked extensively as a solo artist as well as with a band, performing in venues from Nashville to LA.

Ron has written and produced four CDs of original music: “Silver Screen Heroes and Other Legends” 2008, “Into the West” 2016 (awarded Album of the Year 2016 by The Academy of Western Artists, Fort Worth, Texas. “Borderline Career” 2016 and the recently released “Outside the Fence” 2017
