The Friends of the Festival ticket assures the buyer of preferred seating in the first five rows of the Melody Ranch Theater for all shows as well as VIP Shuttle service to and from Melody Ranch and all weekend access to the VIP Bunkhouse at the Ranch.

Free parking for all at the Cowboy Festival Shuttle Site located at 13th and Railroad Ave.

Saturday, April 14

NEW! Q&A with Joel Cox, Oscar Winning Editor of The Unforgiven

Join Joel Cox, 2012 Walk of Western Stars honoree and editor of western classics The Outlaw Josey Wales, Pale Rider, and The Wild Bunch, for an inter-active discussion of his career in the film industry working with Clint Eastwood and Sam Peckinpah. A wine reception will precede the event, and proceeds will benefit The Cinema Program and the International Film Festival at College of the Canyons.

Join us for a party on Main Street filled with Music, Dancing, Food Trucks, Western vendors, and the unveiling of two new Stars in Old Town Newhall. The plaques for the new inductees into the Walk of Western Stars will be unveiled at 7:30 p.m. on the West side of Main Street. The inductees are Glenn Ford, posthumously, and Joel Cox. Glenn Ford's movie career spanned seven decades starring in such western classics as The Fastest Gun Alive, 3:10 to Yuma, and Cimarron. Joel Cox is an Academy Award winning editor for the film Unforgiven, and has edited notable western films such as The Wild Bunch, Pale Rider, and The Outlaw Josey Wales. Mr. Cox will be present for the unveiling, and Mr. Ford will be represented by his son, Peter.

The program will be a Tribute to Patsy Cline starring Marie Wise-Hawkins and the Bodacious Bobcats. A buffet dinner will be served. Marie is returning to the stage after her highly acclaimed run as Patsy Cline in the stage production of “Always, Patsy Cline” at The Canyon Theatre Guild.
